Sam graduated from Centre College in Danville, KY in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in English. He began his career with Baird in 1992 and obtained his Chartered Wealth Advisor® certification, having completed a curriculum concerning the varied aspects of wealth management. Sam is Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 licensed in addition to being a Variable Life and Variable Annuities Insurance agent.
Sam is a native of Glasgow, KY where his family has lived for several generations. He is married to Julie Goodman Dickinson. Sam has two children, Ella and Webb, and two stepchildren, Wilder and Lakelan. He enjoys hiking amidst nature’s beauty, singing at the First Christian Church where he is an elder and trustee, and is an avid concertgoer. He particularly enjoys the lyrics and style of The Avett Brothers. He has served as a member of numerous clubs and organizations including being a former member of the Centre College Alumni Board, Glasgow Rotary Club, and past chair of Concert on the Square committee for The Glasgow Community Foundation.
